Drafts the Alliance's regulatory comments. Previously legislative counsel for a U.S. House subcommittee on trade.

Coordinates the events calendar and the sponsorship program. Joined from a major trade-show organiser.
The Alliance is governed by an 11-seat Board of Directors. Seats are elected by the membership for staggered three-year terms; the chair and vice-chair rotate annually. The current board includes operators from Tidewater Forwarders (Norfolk), Lakeshore Customs (Cleveland), Sunbelt Cargo (Houston), Pacific Coast NVO (Long Beach), Empire Brokerage (New York/New Jersey), Cascade Air (Seattle), Magnolia Logistics (Atlanta), Front Range Freight (Denver), Heartland Brokers (Kansas City), Mid-South Forwarders (Memphis) and Bay Area Customs Group (Oakland).
Board minutes are circulated to members within ten business days of each quarterly meeting. The annual financial report is published in the members area each spring.
