About the Alliance

The Digital Forwarders Alliance is a U.S. non-profit 501(c)(6) trade association founded in 2014 and based in Northbrook, Illinois. The Alliance represents more than 1,200 independent freight forwarding, customs brokerage and NVOCC firms across 47 U.S. states. The executive director and founder is Vasiliki Peroulas.

Statistics

• Member firms: 1,240+ as of Q1 2026.
• States represented: 47.
• Training program: 62 continuing-education modules.
• Annual conferences: two main events plus quarterly regional meetings.
• Federal comment letters filed since 2019: 23.
